About the Conference



2020 District Conference is shaping up to be the BEST EVER!!!  

The Islands come to Arizona for this Hawaiian-themed extravaganza.  

Rotarians from across our District will gather on June 26 & 27 at the beautiful Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix.  Enjoy a wonderful resort experience: $99 suites, resort water park and lazy river, resort fee waived, free internet, spa services.  Join fellow Rotarians for an inspiring, club-building, fun, friend and team building conference.  

Our conference focus will be on changing lives and making our world a better place.  You are encouraged to bring the following used items which will be deployed with compassion to make the lives of others better:

  • Mobility Devices to be distributed by our Interact Ambassadors for the Crutches for Africa program
  • Lightly used Formal Wear to be given (cleaned, pressed and ready) to those from across the state who want to go to the prom, but don’t have the funds to purchase prom appropriate formal wear.
  • Suitcases with plenty of good years ahead that will be made available to children in the foster care system who can now move on to their next living situation with a bit of dignity — rather than moving on with all their worldly possessions in a black trash bag.

  • Screening of a powerful film last shown at the 2020 Rotary World Peace Conference
  • Friday night hospitality suites
  • Bike-building for children who have never owned a bike
  • Saturday night luau
  • Club Recognition for Rotary Foundation participation
  • Hula-Hoop lessons
  • Human Library to help us all break stereotypes
